I experienced the pleasure of joining John Petherick’s team at the Robert Half location in Burnaby in May 2007. I reported directly to John while working on the permanent placement division of Accounting Operations. I had the honour of learning directly from John for 2 years while constantly cultivating my skills in recruitment and business development.
John’s innate ability to motivate a group of professionals was evident on a daily basis, but one example includes his still present team celebration for individual accomplishments. This action allows everyone to praise a fellow team member for reaching a goal while simultaneously motivating the rest of the group to strive for personal production standards.
Another one of John’s best qualities is his desire to help others. Not only did he do this in a work environment, but also on charitable level of helping foundations by raising money to assist specific causes.
I highly recommend John as part of any group that requires a person that brings a drive for excellence, an exceptional team player attitude and an amazing ability to help others in many different ways.
